A new position created within GE O&G New Brownfield Services Division to lead the development of a new integrated production optimisation & Field Life Extension service offering, which I was the principal architect of, as a consultant, during Q1 2016. Partners identified, Strategic Alliance negotiated, signed and go to market strategy in place within 6 months plus initial workscope currently in negotiation.

One of five founding Partners in UIS, a new business launched in May 2015. The Company, a “buy & build” investment platform, was backed by HitecVision Europe’s leading private equity investor in the upstream offshore Oil & Gas sector. UIS proposition was to offer independent, global subsea asset integrity, production assurance and Field Life extension services to O&G Operators and Tier 1 contractors. UIS’s core principle was to be an “asset light” business service offering which was to be constructed around engineering, data & analytic services, personnel, products and services on a standalone or integrated basis, all dedicated to subsea integrity, production assurance and Field Life extension. Investor made strategic decision to withdraw from “buy & build” investment platforms, December 2015.

Provided strategy and business development guidance to a number of Tier 1 and new-start subsea Contractors looking to address emerging market opportunities in the UKCS, Atlantic Ridge, European and West African OPEX Markets.

Sought out by this leading marine contractor to develop & implement a growth strategy for their Europe & West Africa Division (EWA) and re-organise to meet the needs of the business. This strategy was focused on providing a differentiated subsea intervention service for clients subsea assets utilising the company’s intervention capabilities: Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and specialist ROV Support Vessels, principally in deepwater.• Stabilised the organization, secured the retention of key onshore & offshore personnel & re-aligned the organisation to meet the needs of the business• Responsible for an onshore organisation of circa 60, including 6 direct reports to VP level, an offshore workforce in excess of 180, operating up to 6 specialist offshore Vessels and generating revenues in excess of $200m• Delivered sound financial results, ahead of 2014 Budget expectations (July forecast: $212m Revenue, ~$39m EBITDA)• Developed strategic direction and business growth plan which I was in the process of implementing when, further to an interim strategic review prompted by my forecast of uncertain market conditions, the Company decided not to pursue further at this time
