Served as CEO of Future System Advisors LLC, an insurance solution company focused on providing the wealth management and insurance industries with offerings based on a recent patent: a new model for life insurance and a financial and estate planning system. Led the efforts to stand up the company, achieve SEC and state approval of the new products and development/deployment of the supporting IT infrastructure for product administration and planning systems. I now serve on the Board of Directors.

Served as the Director of Technology and Standards for the Department of Defense Information Technology Center in New Orleans, LA. Directed a staff of IT professionals in support of contracts and delivery orders for the Naval Reserve Information System Office (NRISO) and the Systems Executive Officer for Manpower and Personnel (SEO/MP).

Served on CIO staff responsible for the Corporate Information Technology Project Office. Established an IT Project Office to improve the IT organization’s project performance and technology solution delivery capability. In March of 1998 the IT Project Office team was awarded the Corporate Level 4 Team Excellence Award based on the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award criteria.

Served on the CIO’s staff as Manager of Software Engineering for Litton Data Systems, responsible for Navy shipboard tactical software system development. The organization achieved SEI CMM level 3 while under his leadership.---- NAVY TACTICAL SYSTEMS - Manage tactical OO software system product lines including Navy Tactical Data Systems and combat system training/test systems.---- SITE INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT - Lead site IT Team to re-engineer the site’s client server based engineering development and business systems using OO and Web-Based tools. (built and deployed a site Intranet) Member of the Litton Division Information Technology Policy Board. Site IT Security Representative ---- PROCESS AUTOMATION - SEPG chairman leading efforts to improve site’s SEI competency (achieved SEI CMM Level 3 April 97). Process enactment and work management automation utilizing Rational ROSE and SUMMIT OO tools.---- SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND TEST – Standardize integration and test for all projects. Management of the integration lab.---- SITE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (CM) - Improve and automate site CM process.

Served as the Engineering Chief of the Systems Architecture and Integrity Group for the Lockheed Fort Worth Company. During this period, served as an avionic systems engineer and supervised a staff of engineering personnel responsible for the system engineering and development of the avionic systems for the F-16 and F-22 fighter aircraft program.---- Supervised a staff of engineering personnel responsible for development of F-16 avionic system performance specification, interface design and development, OO software specification, and engineering application development.---- Responsible for the avionic MIL-STD-1553 system integration testing laboratory.---- Improved 7 business processes through use of automation, tools, and metrics.---- Member of the management team that transformed an SEI CMM Level 1 rated software organization into an SEI CMM Level 3 rated organization. (1991-1993)---- Received a corporate Incentive Award for “Sustained Innovation in Leadership” May 1994.---- Served as avionic system design lead engineer for the design and development of the avionic architecture for the Navy’s ATF (1989 - 1990)---- Served as lead F-16 interface design engineer for 12 aircraft avionic system configurations. (1987 - 1989)---- Served as technical software consultant on the Avionic Scientific Advisory Board’s Advanced Tactical Fighter Team committee representing the Lockheed, Boeing, and General Dynamics Team. (1990)---- Designed and implemented seven software based tools for automation of engineering tasks. Was awarded two LFWC corporate meritorious awards for these efforts. (1984 - 1990)---- Served as IPD-team member on more than 40 design team efforts responsible for the design and integration of new weapons, sensors, subsystems, and system functional capabilities for the F-16. Personally led 18 of these teams. (1984 -1987)
