The Melbourne Business Awards commenced in 1992 to provide a forum to recognise the achievements of small to medium sized enterprises within the South East of Melbourne Region..The Melbourne Business Awards holds five breakfasts throughout the year which attract up to 220 people from small to medium businesses and corporate leaders. Each Breakfast features a topical keynote speaker from the business, political or sporting sectors. Started out as an Estimator,then trained my replacement, folllowed by Production Management into Senior Management.Culture change and Business growth via a Sales led approach.I left in 2000 and the company was liquidated in 2004.

Dawes Press situated in Fulham Road in the heart of the Chelsea designer belt was a boutique printing company offering letterpress (with a full time compositor) and Offset Litho to the fashion industry such as Jasper Conran, Georgio Armani and many others.This job was an amazing eye opener as to what went on in the "Fashion Industry" at a time of high frivoloty and plenty of cash amongst other things.A great experience!
