Effective in January 2012, Geoff became a Consulting Partner and IBM Executive. he continued to lead CBA Account for IBM which continued to be among the top two performing accounts for IBM Global Business Services year on year.Geoff also became heavily involved in the graduate recruitment process. A process he enjoyed and valued at BCG and was eager to bring that executive sponsorship of such a program in IBM. He continues to see this cohort as essential for an organisation's energy and vitality.For 2015, Geoff moved out of Financial services and focused on helping build the Business Analytics and Strategy Practice area with a cross industry focus. Being passionate about organisation change and transformation, Data and Analytics, he worked closely with the Interactive Experience team and together focused on solving hard business problems. After a many year hiatus from Government, Geoff also assisted Analytcis and Cognitive Computing assignments at ABS, DHS and department of Defense. Geoff also enjoyed speaking on Analytics at IBM customer events.In 2015, Geoff also took on leading the Retail/CPG/Travel & Transport industry sector. His client base included Qantas, Metcash, Graincorp.

Geoff returned to IBM and Global Business Services and immediately into the Financial Services team. In this period, Geoff focused on Westpac and CBA. He assisted other teams focusing on NAB Macquarie Bank, Suncorp and Bendigo Bank.With A primary focus on CBA, Geoff led the teams assisting the CBA on their Core banking Replacement journey. Over a period of 5 years, Geoff and his team worked on the data migration of the transaction data from legacy to the new SAP Core banking System. Geoff also had teams decommissioning legacy systems as the migration progressed. Geoff also had many team members responsible for re-plumbing channels and other bank systems to the new SAP system.On a broader account basis, Geoff also managed hundreds of IBMers managing and supporting bank systems both on and offshore. Geoff had teams in multiple Bank locations in Sydney as well as IBM locations in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Geoff joined BCG in the IT consulting practice and also worked cross function in the organisational change areas.As part of this global top tier consulting firm, Geoff was able to work on major and far reaching transformation programs - for example the end to end restructure of IT and shared services functions at Royal Bank of Canada; IT transformation at Westpac, and Finance transformation at NAB.In his tenure at BCG, Geoff focused deeply on Royal bank of Canada, Rio Tinto, Westpac, NAB and CBA.

Based in Australia, Geoff was one of the foundation members of this new Gartner Consulting practice. He focused on Australia and New Zealand. His client based later expanded to Asia - particularly Singapore with Visa International and ICBC.Geoff was tasked with building capability and client base for the e-business practice area. he later also took on the Architecture Practice lead.During his tenure, Geoff worked across industry and the client base included: Austrade, Macquarie Bank, State Rail, Sydney Water, Westpac, Brisbane City Council, Auckland City Council, Coca Cola Amatil, Department of Defense, Sydney University, NZ Inland RevenueGeoff was also a speaker at various Gartner events

With the emerging importance of the Web and Internet to business, the UNSW Masters of Commerce Degree offered a module relating to this subject area. I Invited to lecturer for the e-commerce/business module for the Masters of Commerce Degree from 1999-2003. Responsibilities included delivering course content (some co-developed), providing an industry perspective, reviewing and marking of major assignments
