With over 35 years experience in the infrastructure/engineering industry, in both the public and private sector, I have been exposed to diverse cultures and geographies, allowing me to develop a global mindset. In my earlier years I was focused on technical roles in the water industry, which rapidly moved to business leadership roles, managing strategy, growth, operational excellence, and delivering sustained profitability.I find it rewarding leading a diverse team delivering large infrastructure projects through to smaller critical studies, and balancing the need to focus on today/tomorrow, with positioning for the future.I am a strategic thinker and results focussed leader, experienced in building and motivating both global and local, diverse teams to an aligned purpose and goal, with a real passion for developing talent. I have enjoyed considerable exposure to international markets, global diversity, mergers and acquisitions, leading change, being part of a rapidly growing business, working within high performance senior executive teams. I have also had involvement in various Corporate roles through Company Boards and Board committees across risk, strategy, equity and finance, shareholding.In more recent times I have enjoyed helping establish a commercial foothold for an amazing R and D organisation and move the leading technical solution to one of the world's most demanding environmental issues into a sustainable business and at the same time also contribute to a smaller engineering consulting group grow its business through a strong client lens.
