I began my career by joining Capstrat as a Web Developer in May of 2010 where I found many opportunities to express creativity, provide user experience insights, and develop web sites using Django, Flash (Actionscript 3.0), PHP, Javascript and HTML/CSS.The next two years of my career were well spent at a mobile development firm in Durham, NC called Two Toasters. I started in December of 2011 and expanded my development skills to iOS. Two Toasters had an excellent atmosphere that really helped me accelerate into a new area of development but also provided me with numerous opportunities to apply my passion for user experience design through usability studies, user research, and client kickoffs on a wide range of client projects.Later on I decided to focus my career on experience design at Centerline Digital. My responsibilities at Centerline included user/stakeholder research, taxonomy/IA design, interface design (wireframing, sketching), usability testing, content strategy, and content marketing.After Centerline, I joined Interactive Intelligence which was later acquired by Genesys, working on a product called Genesys Cloud, which is a customer experience platform.My journey continues now at Fidelity Investments designing for the Fidelity Bloom® app!
