Geoff Mak, CEM, CMP, and I served on the Board of Directors for the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Toronto Chapter for six years at different capacities which culminated in Geoff being appointed Chapter president for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.
Geoff always provided an equal-opportunity environment during his leadership time as a Director, Vice-president and during his presidency year. Always ready to listen and welcome new ideas, Geoff lead the Leadership Team cultivating engagement, participation and collaboration amongst all Chapter leaders. He always kept the volunteers and members-at-large as a top priority for the strategic initiatives implemented by the Board of Directors.
