I retired from the Deloitte North West Europe firm on 31 May 2023 after spending 6 years as a partner based in Zurich. Prior to this I was a partner in the Deloitte African firm for 22 years, the last 12 of which I was the Managing Partner: Audit & Assurance for Deloitte Southern Africa and Deloitte Africa. While in Switzerland I was the global Lead Partner on the Glencore plc engagement for 5 years. Over my career I had significant experience in the Mining and Trading (Base metals, Coal, Diamonds and Gold), Financial Services (Banking and Private Equity), Consumer Business (Furniture and Apparel Retail) industries, and listed Corporate group company audits.
