I chose to follow a career in Information Technology after years of dedicated professionalism to a career in catering and a change in family circumstances. You can see my recent employment history shows that I have embraced this choice with the same conviction and enthusiasm I always have. In 2004 I was offered the post of Network Manager for Cumbria but this quickly grew to managing technical teams in Manchester and Blackburn too. I feel I am a very good people person and empathise with client, staff and management well.In 2000 I became a Network Team Leader and believe I have helped to shape and motivate my team through some very difficult growth and development. I have organised the team so that they operate effectively. We now offer support to an internal and external customer market. I have helped to retain customers and also increase turnover.Throughout this I have concentrated on building my technical knowledge and am particularly proud of my Certified Netware Engineer (CNE3/4/5 & 6), Certified Netware Salesperson (CNS) and Certified Netware Administrator (CNA) status.
