Business Development Manager for a leading graphics and display company responsible for client acquisition and ongoing account management. Key clientele included Apple, Australian Wool Innovation, The Bundaberg Distilling Co, Carriageworks, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, David Jones, Fairfax Media, Macquarie Bank, Stockland Corporation, Target, and Woolworths (Big W).Campaigns included large-scale rollouts to retail stores and points of sale across Australia and New Zealand. Geoffrey was responsible for both the development and implementation of graphic treatments for the now current Commonwealth Bank of Australia retail branches, as part of a transition to remove the barrier between customers and service assistants in a push towards a more consultative and customer service driven approach to banking.Geoffrey worked directly with Apple to develop customised retail fixtures enabling them to streamline their processes for updating brand creative in retail stores - a solution that has since been rolled out internationally. Geoffrey was responsible for the fabrication and implementation of these solutions across both Apple retail stores and resellers Myer, David Jones, Kmart, Target, Dick Smith, and JB HIFI. Geoffrey also played a key role in the development of innovative graphic treatments for a variety of architectural, museum and interior fit-out projects where environmental graphics were implemented to maximise the creative use of space and user experience. Projects include a museum-style experience at The Bunderberg Distillery in Bundaberg and the conversion of the historical railway workshops in Eveleigh, into the multi-arts centre, ‘Carriageworks’. Extensive environmental graphic treatments to both the interior and exterior of the Carriageworks proved a huge success, resulting in the attainment of the Lachlan Macquarie Award for Heritage in 2008, the Institute of Architects Architecture Award, and the Greenway Award for Heritage.
