Determined cause of erratic results reported in the literature, and developed a passive sampling technique for individual cylinder exhaust gas samples.1987, migrated to Australia and became Logistic Engineering Manager at ASC. Over 20 staff, based in Adelaide and Malmö. Cost Account Manager for the Logistic Engineering budgets in Adelaide and Malmö.In 1992, joined DSTO Melbourne. Stirling engines for submarines, condition monitoring, ceramic thermal barrier coatings, propulsion systems for Coastal Minehunters. Project Officer for new buildings for Maritime Platforms Division. Investigated RAN engine failures. Task Manager for Navy propulsion projects. Expert witness for BoI into a fatal HMAS WESTRALIA fire in 1998; expert witness to related Inquest and OH&S prosecution. Promoted 2005 to Head, Propulsion & Energy Management. Member of Submarine Capability Working Group and responsible for a Land Based Test Facility in WA, and a V6 research engine for improvements to Collins Class diesels.Now a specialist Associate with AADI Defence Pty Ltd, a consultancy to Defence and Aerospace industries and to the Defence Department, and to other industries where relevant.
