• Researching, Planning and securing funding (via single and co-operative bids) across the European Union for funding of judicial projects in which the U.K has an interest.• Researching, Planning and securing funding for Judicial Projects within England and Wales, i.e. working with the Law Society and a host of stakeholders to launch initiatives reflecting the objectives of the Ministry of Justice.• Planning, preparation, organisation, budgeting and day-to-day management of study visits for overseas Judges, Officials and Lawyers. • Advising and briefing Ministers and Senior Officials on visits and other aspects of international business. Liaison with judiciary/official aboard and in England and Wales.• Hague Conference, developing understanding of UK Policy.• Submitting submissions to Secretary of State on nominations to the European Court of Justice.• Management responsibilities - Two Executive Officers.

 Drafting of Chief Executive and Ministerial Correspondence on behalf of HM Court Service. Investigating Complaints relating to the administration of Crown and County Courts in England and Wales. Assisting the Parliamentary Ombudsman with investigations in to complaints against HM Court Service. Investigating and making recommendations on Ex Gratis claims. Direct Management of three Executive Offices, Countersign responsibilities for two Administrative Officers.

 Speech writing and briefings for Commissioners of the DRC and senior staff. Management of DRC’s bi-monthly meetings (rotating between, London, Manchester, Scotland and Wales. Administrative management of DRC Legal Committee.

 Assisting Project Manager to manage Divisional budget, including profiling and monitoring expenditure. Responsible for updating and circulation Project Plans Creation of Civil Justice Council’s website Replies to Parliamentary Questions.  Training Co-ordinator for Division (25 Staff) Management of two Administrative Officers.
