Recognised throughout ASIC as the source of expert advice on financial services regulation.Playing the lead role working with Australian Treasury in developing the Asia Region Funds Passport arrangements that have been internationally agreed to establish a UCITS-like framework in the Asia region, including leading international negotiations and industry consultation meetings, and drafting proposed terms. Australian representative on the Joint Committee and Chair 2017 -2018.Assisting Australian Treasury in developing proposals for corporate collective investment vehicles from early consultation on design, to drafting and considering public feedback.As part of the IMS senior management team, collaborating to develop the business plans and training programs for the IMS team of about 50 staff throughout Australia, including participating in performance assessment, drafting risk based surveillance plans and staffing and funding proposals for ASIC that have been accepted by Australian government.
