(4) Design, install, administer, and optimize company servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning servers as necessary.(5) Assist in overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of office data and ensure routine backups.(6) Ensure internet is running in all 3 IC sites through day to day contact with ISP's(7) Set up Vsat antennae in 3 IC sites i.e DRC,CAR and Kampala on C- Band technology for 24/7 access of internet.(8) Setup VOIP phones across 3 IC sites DRC,CAR and Kampala to enable cheap and efficient communications over the internet.(9) Configured a site to site VPN across 2 locations to enable users access shared network resources.(10) Setup and configured firewalls e.g Sonic wall TZ210, TZ100 and Cybroam CR 25 wiNG in various IC sites to protect the networks both LAN and Wifi from cyber attacks and configured user access control policies.(11) Set up NAS using Netgear device to enable users through active directory to share,access data and setup incremental backups to run daily in an effort to mitigate data loss.(12) Created domains for easy control of users and computers systems and also promoted redundancy by setting up secondary domains.(13) Setup Quick books on the LAN for easy access by the Finance team and scheduled daily backups.(14) Configured and setup folder redirection on MS 2008 R2 platform for all users in the local domain for easy file access and backup.
