Proofread translation work done by other translators and provided advice regarding translation efficiency in order to increase timely production and accuracy.- Provided chemical expertise in order to help attorneys understand scientific documents in English and Japanese. Translations covered subjects in chemistry, pharmaceutics, engineering, financial analysis, patent law, and criminal law.- Obtained experience in Stratify.com and Kroll Ontrack Inview on-line documentation systems.

Assistant English Teacher for the towns of Matsuyama and Hirata (now Sakata), Yamagata Prefecture.- Created lesson plans with Japanese teachers of English for sixteen English classes a week in conjunction with a Japanese teacher of English for two junior high schools.- Lectured in seminars on the use of modern Japanese culture in the English-language classroom.- Balanced an international exchange through translation between a junior high school; . Tutored students in Australian English, geography, and culture for a summer trip to Australia in 2003.- Monitored the progress of students involved in English essay competitions and provided aid in English speaking for speeches.- Interpreted for guests of the Matsuyama and Hirata Boards of Education.
