About Geoffrey Wright

I have been a senior sales leader since 2009 and have helped shape Xerox’s Digital Transformation offerings and go-to-market strategy in both the European and North American markets. I have a strong track record in fostering business development and driving sales growth across the organization. I have a demonstrated ability to lead geographically-distributed, cross-functional teams in the pursuit and deployment of multi-regional outsourcing accounts.I have been recognized by Xerox management on three separate occasions for my contribution to the business (Presidents Club in 2005 and Award of Business Excellence in 2007 and 2013).I've been sailing my entire life. One of my earliest memories was sailing on my grandparents' CS-22 around the Toronto Islands. I recall endless summers in sailing school and later teaching sailing as a teenager. Sailing is my one true passion in life....so after 25+ years in the corporate world I decided to turn my passion into my profession and founded Blue Water Marine Services; to which I bring much of my business acumen, professionalism and work-ethics with me. A friend of mine who works and is well respected in the marine industry once told me that "returning phone calls promptly and showing up when you say you will is half the battle". This is what I have been doing my entire professional life. I approach my business with the same professionalism as I did my corporate career.I am a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS®) and I am a registered SAMS®-SA surveyor. I am a graduate of an internationally recognized program on Marine Composites & Gelcoat Repair. I am a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and a Certified ABYC Marine Electrical Advisor. Both my SAMS® and ABYC designations require me to achieve a minimum number of Continuing Education credits each year to retain my status.
