My experience varies from Co-founder and Partner of a > $100 million crypto hedge fund, to VP Marketing and Chief Scientist of a multi-billion dollar global company, to startup CEO with successful exits. Founded 6 companies (4 acquisitions, 2 still independent). Investor and advisor to many startups, funds, charitable organizations, and governments including the German Parliament.Recognized for my ability in the use of DeFi to create alternative financial services and products that are more accessible, transparent, and inclusive than traditional ones. I have a deep understanding of how NFTs use blockchain technology to verify and record the provenance, authenticity, and scarcity of each asset, creating a new market for digital creativity and value. I am proud of pioneering the use of Layer 2 solutions to improve the scalability, speed, and cost-efficiency of blockchain transactions by moving some of the computation and data off the main chain (layer 1) and onto secondary networks (layer 2).
