The Central Arkansas Real Estate Investors Association focuses on ethical education and providing networking opportunities to new and seasoned real estate investors in the central Arkansas area. As President, I am in charge of setting the overall direction of the association, setting and collecting membership fees, scheduling monthly meetings including bringing in national real estate speakers, scheduling and running occasional weekend events, membership management and communication.During my time with the association, I increased membership reach from ~30 to close to 350 with many of those being paid members.

ePublishing is a Ruby on Rails shop that provides a fully integrated, Cloud-based, Software as a Service backed by custom development, design and 24 x 7 support. Features include content management, community, eCommerce, social media, publishing workflow, audience management, SEO, video, advertising, blogs, eNewsletters, directories, buyers guides, data, user/audience management and CRM.As the Lead Developer for the Professional Services division of ePublishing, I work full-time developing with Ruby on Rails to meet client demands. When a current client would like something custom-built or integrated, they request a Statement of Work from a Solutions Manager. That SM then comes to me for feasibility, time, and cost estimates for the development work. If that work is then approved by the client, I and the Professional Services development team writes the code to see the project through to completion.All Ruby on Rails code is fully tested and peer reviewed before being deployed to the client's site.
