Geoff founded, created, and developed the $5 million revenue conference business for AlphaMetrix Events and was directly responsible for a paradigm shift in the structure of hedge fund conferences. From 2005 to 2010, Geoff served as Managing Director at First Capital, where he managed the esoteric ABL group (focused out lending to Fund Managers, ABL Lenders, and MRR driven businesses) and built it into the most profitable division at the firm. This was largely achieved through an “out of the box” marketing approach which included a rebuild of the corporate website, implementation of an advertising and marketing program, a systematized program for managing strategic relationships, and the creation of an outbound call center.
