Advisory Board Member - Future-Fit Leadership
I was a co-founder and Advisory Board member of the Daedalus Trust working with former UK Foreign Secretary and founding trustee Lord (David) Owen, Arie de Geus, Sir Bob Reid and others to promote research into, education about, and prevention of the negative personality changes associated with the exercise of power. www.daedalustrust.comThe Trust's work focused on helping leaders in all walks of public and private life to avoid falling prey to the hubris that can all too easily affect and afflict those in positions of power. In June 2017 the Trust moved into a more philosophical direction by merging with the Maudsley Philosophy Group http://maudsleyphilosophygroup.org My focus within the Trust was on providing practical, focused, pragmatic tools, techniques and support to senior people in positions of power and influence, particularly within commercial sector businesses. With the winding up of the Trust, I continue to help people in positions of influence escape the hidden traps that unchecked ultimately lead to hubris.
