Geoffrey E. Sherman is Partner of Oppenheim Law. Geoffrey’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate governance, and civil litigation. Geoffrey graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, cum laude, where he held leadership positions in Accent Speaker’s Bureau, Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity and was also a member of Florida Blue Key, Florida’s most prestigious leadership honorary society. Geoffrey subsequently attended law school at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2008. Geoffrey started working for Oppenheim Law in 2007 as a law clerk and has grown professionally with the firm over the past 14 years. Geoffrey has been selected by the Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2016 to present. Throughout Geoffrey’s tenure with Oppenheim Law, he has represented numerous business ventures as outside general counsel.Geoffrey is also a Principal and General Counsel of Weston Title & Escrow, Inc., a full-service title company that is the oldest title company in the City of Weston. Weston Title has closed more than $2 billion in transactions. Weston Title has represented and handled closings for numerous, prominent developers in the South Florida area, including Windmill Reserve, Landmark Ranch Estates, Metropica, Terra Group and ALTA Developers.
