In the role of a Senior UI Developer, I am the lead development resource on the Cultivation and Reengagement (CARE) team for frontend and/or user interface (UI) development. I take point on development tasks that center around creating and enhancing components and features on our application's Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Java-based codebase; this includes Java/JSP changes as well as JavaScript and Sass/CSS updates.As a technical lead, I collaborate with other leads and our team's Product Owner to identify dependencies for tickets and otherwise prepare tickets for team refinement sessions. During and outside of specific tasks, I communicate and discuss with the CARE team's embedded UX Designer around current and upcoming design updates to our application, and help guide discussions around strategy, especially as it relates to technical constraints.I continue the facilitation of the UI Group community of practice, and I am involved with efforts to develop and socialize a design system for enterprise-wide use, specifically lending my expertise on UI aspects. I aim to further my skills by seeking guidance from other development leads in my organizational division, and practice coaching strategies with development resources that join the CARE team.

As a UI Developer, I am tasked with creating frontend capabilities for an in-development, unreleased application centered around personal information management. In this capacity, I collaborate with backend developers on the Account Management Service (AMS) team to create components and functionality in the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS, in 2-week sprints organized around Scrum/Agile processes.The application in development had no user interface when I joined the team. This provided the opportunity to create a frontend workflow that allows for rapid and creative prototyping of features in a local environment, that also circumvented some unique challenges for creating an authenticated application in a CMS.Through developing features, I also collaborate with a UX Designer embedded on our product team, and champion frontend best practices, accessibility, and empathetic experiences for our future users.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facilitating the UI Group community of practice for frontend development-focused peers, participating in department-wide design review meetings, joining other product teams (Donation and Web Experiences teams) when additional developers are needed, and championing Scrum/Agile standards and development best practices on the AMS team.

I am responsible for creating and maintaining websites, banner ad development, and email campaigns of various sizes and scope. As a Junior Developer, I work with agency designers and developers to build and maintain websites using a variety of languages, content management systems, and vendor products. As an intern at Archer Malmo, I was tasked with developing my skills as a digital developer, learning about the different roles and the culture of the agency, and coordinating with my fellow interns on a group marketing project.With my focus on frontend development, I worked on a variety of projects using different CMSs, languages, and build systems; I helped develop emails, managed content for Wordpress sites, and coded web pages for static sites. As part of the internship, myself and the 3 other interns were assigned a group project to provide marketing support for an agency client; we were asked to come up with a strategy to reach a targeted, yet unreached, market for the client. This included field research, competitor analysis, auditing of current client assets, and mentoring from industry professionals within the agency. The culmination of this project was a live presentation to the client's key decision makers, as well as Archer Malmo staff.

I am working directly at ALSAC/St. Jude's iMedia team, which is a part of the iGroup of the Marketing division.The team I work with does a lot of work with UX, UI, as well as design and front-end development.I have participated in projects that included design, UX, content updating, and graphics editing.
