As a project employee I co-develop in new or existing projects and help them improve. I contributed to the following projects at Avans: - The honoursprogram at Avans. Chance is a succesfull program for students who want to get more out of their studytime at Avans. In this project I developed the social engagement for students and teachers and established the brand and marketing. - The GreenOffice. The GreenOffice is thé platform for students to engage in sustainability at Avans. They think along in policy and set up projects for improving either student-behaviour or concrete projects like giving every student a tree at their graduation. - The Avans Multidisciplinary Experience is a pressure-cooker innovation week. Approximately 1500 students participate in two AMX-week each year. Students are put in a multidisciplinary team and work on a real case from a real company. In this project I co-developed the online programma because of COVID. - Venture Talks is a webinar for students and entrepreneurs. In this webinar we invite civil servants, student-entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to to talk about new businses in sustainability. The goal is to inspire youngsters to start their own sustainability business. My role is to lead the projectteam.

At the GreenOffice we actively engage students to create a sustainability movement. Our goal is to make our University and local environment more sustainable than it already is. We reach our goal by setting up awareness-campaings, forming projects, doing research and organising events. Our action perspective is based upon the Sustainable Development Goals [un]. As a project leader it's my goal to have a sustainable impact and engaging as many students as possible. Therefore it's essential to have a good relationship with many of our partners, including: municipalities, NGO's, various companies and citizens. We reach our goals mostly with external and internal partners. In the past few years GreenOffice has done some remarkable projects and campaings. For examples, see the link below.

The digital age transforms our perspective on being social. Or at least how you present to be social. Social-media makes us (believe we're) social. However, that doesn't mean we're actually socially interacting with people. The local haircutter, grocery store or butcher have great stories to tell and could profit from "the new social era". I want to make these stories and share them. I believe in making SME's more social. By creating content, managing channels or consulting SME's on how to behave on social-media with their customers. Not in a B2C or B2B way of thinking; but in H2H, a human to human approach. Because being online should be about representing you as a company or person, you should "act" the same offline.

Catch Your Talent is an institute focused on recruiting sales-talents. I was recruited and selected for the 29th Masterclass Sales and Account Management. The masterclass gave me the opportunity to learn about sales and account management by practicing theory in the field.The masterclass is designed by Maarten Colijn and Prof. Willem Verbeke. The reason I chose to participate in this Masterclass was because I see 'implicit listening' as a 21st Century skill. I think it's essential to know how to listen to your peers and communicate with them to improve products or services.Results: - I worked 150 hours as a sales professional for various projects (Vodafone, Electrolux and Intel)- I finished the exam with an 8- I passed my final sales pitch

The talentbase programme is a programme initiated by the Spark Campus in 's-Hertogenbosch. The goal of the talentbase programme is to educate starters and entrepreneurs about innovation in a sustainable environment. Within the talentbase programme I chose to take part in the Starters4Communities programme. Within the Starters4Communities programma I learned to 'crowdfund a project'​; and 'how to help local citizens to grow social-initiatives'. Therefore we helped a local citizen-initiative to grow bigger; and build a sustainable future for their organization.Workshops I attended were: Storytelling, Business Model Canvas, Crowdfunding, Impact Evaluation, Pitching, Pro-Action, Social Entrepreneurship, Theory of Change, Lean Innovation, Value Proposition Design and SCRUM.Note: We successfully crowdfunded our campaign with €21.128,73 (106%)!

The Bossche Energieconvenant is an agreement between several companies in the municipality of ’s-Hertogenbosch. An agreement in which these companies agree to have reached zero energy consumption in 2050. During my graduation internship I designed a process to activate SMEs (companies with 10 – 250 employees) to reduce energy consumption; to accelerate energy-generation. Whereas these companies use ‘het Bossche Energieconvenant’ as a collaborative platform to reach their energy goal. The overall goal was to activate all SMEs in the municipality of ’s-Hertogenbosch to use zero energy in 2050. My workplace was at the municipality of ’s-Hertogenbosch.
