As the CBRN Defense Chief and Squadron Training Chief I was able to dual head both billets further proving my capability of being able to handle multiple tasks with little to no difficulties. Some of the tasks involved in both roles are inputting training for both CBRN and service level fiscal/annual year training, creating Squadron level training exercises, assisting in conducting and supervising live fire ranges, as well as overseeing the administrative roles taking place within the sections.

- Assisted, conducted, and supervised the training of junior and peer CBRN Marines in CBRN defense, sensitive sight exploitation (SSE), sureveillance, and reconnaissance of CBRNE scenarios.- Trained personnel on chemical detection using multiple different detection platforms as well as the key designators of different types of chemical and biological agents.- Trained Marines on advanced CBRN detection equipment such as the MultiRAe, FTX, RMX, and Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (GCMS).- Trained and executed CBRNE casualty decontamination in training exeercises.- Provided recommendations to higher authority on CBRNE and WMD scenarios regarding response actions.

As a CBRN Defense Specialist I worked in multiple different roles to include, Quick Reaction Force (QRF) team member, Reconnaissance team leader, Decontamination team leader, and CBRN equipment member. While in these billets I became a subject matter expert (SME) on DRSKO capabilities, CBRN reconnaissance, decontamination, sampling, and sensitive sight exploitation. I created and assisted in the conduct of over 85 different CBRNE training exercises simulating different scenarios ranging from homemade explosive (HME) labs, Chemical distilleries, terror attacks, and WMD production facilities. Over the 7 years of being a CBRN Defense Specialist I was able to attend multiple courses to further increase my capabilities.
