Principal areas of responsibility have been engineering for nuclear and other industrial applications, mechanical/electromechanical design, design for manufacture, CAD, FEA, drafting and technical documentation. I have managed the relationships with customers for technical aspects of large projects and liaised with funding bodies. I've enjoyed leading teams, managing suppliers, and providing mentoring for graduate engineers and industrial placements. In 2016 I successfully led the delivery of the active demonstration at Sellafield for the £7.7m LaserSnake 2 project funded by Innovate UK and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
