The Senior Retoucher performs a variety of image tasks including retouching, color correction, archiving and naming images, image output and more.Key Accountabilities:• Image retouching of on-figure, fashion, laydown, and still life images, by utilizing tools in Photoshop such as, adjustment layers, selections, paths, etc.• Color correction of product from sample.• Quality Control of outsourced images from our off-shore partner.• Reviewing vendor-provided images against quality standards and determining viability for use online.• Retouching, cropping and optimizing vendor images for use on the Macys.com site.• Track progress of all on-going projects, capturing metrics, reporting data weekly.• Uploading, downloading, transferring, preparing, naming and archiving of images according to specifications.• Lead and develop off-shore team, in-house retouchers & freelance talent. Enforces Site Standards and best business practices, provides feedback, and serves as a backup.• Collaborate with other teams within the organization.• Work on special projects including researching new technologies.• Driver of outsourcing assets to off-shore team.• Ensures that projects are completed by established deadlines.
