Highly Commercial Finance position with a diverse range of activities undertaken to support business turnaround. Responsibilities included creation and maintenance of client profitability, new and renewal client pricing, target client improvements, loss reserve analysis, tabulating contact terms, setting of project / billing rates and client operational metrics. The role was also heavily involved in a number of ad-hoc projects such as identifying revenue leakage areas and improving a number of business process.

Epsom / Farnborough

Finance Business partner role with an initial focus on stabilising and improving the financial reporting as the business went though a merger. Wide range of standard activities undertaken including annual planning, quarterly forecasting cycle, variance reporting and commentary, segment profitability, department reporting and monthly P&L reviews. Heavily involvement in a number of business cases and the generation of 5 year LRP.

Epsom / London

Key member of the leadership team who turnaround a loss making business to delivering industry leading margins. Provided typical finance support such as planning, month end close, variance analysis and improving overall financial reporting / management information framework. Lead and supported a number of transformation activities including office rationalisation, client renegotiation, non-core business exits, and various cost reduction / elimination programmes.

Epsom / London

Supporting the European Shared Services leadership team which comprised of Real Estate, IT, Legal, Finance and HR Functions though the provision of business partnering support. Routine activities included monthly reporting, planning, forecast updates, risk and opportunities. Identified a number of cost reduction initiatives. Initially covered the role as part of a colleague sabbatical in addition to HR BPO Finance Lead which was extended for a period of time due to a merger between Aon and Hewitt. Supported migration of finance support into the Aon model.

Epsom

Newly created role to provide financial support to a client team as a result of a new business win. Started with a blank sheet of paper and the role was required to put in place management information to track actual and forecast performance relative to plan. Required detailed knowledge of the contract and supported various scope creep / scope change pricing and mitigation activities.
