Supply Chain Manager
CurrentSupply Chain Manager responsible for beginning to end logistics with a team of direct reports.Raw Materials Purchasing:• Responsible for the negotiation and sourcing of all North American carbon black oil and natural gas feedstock for production, $135MM/year. • Consult with other regions on exports for international feedstock shipments originating in the US Gulf Coast.• High visibility area that represented 85% of the variable margin of finished goods. Transportation Management:• Manage all aspects of a 500 car rail fleet including responsibilities for leasing and purchasing to shipping, repairs, and car retirement.• Handle FTL, LTL, and bulk truck shipping in a specialized commodity market using 3PL providers and asset based carriers.Supply Chain Optimization: • Focus on continuous improvement and optimization in high dollar value areas such as transportation, asset utilization and finished goods distribution, as well as raw materials cost and timeliness of deliveries.FTA Certificate of Origin:• Create, maintain, distribute, and update FTA certificates for all North American manufactured products, occasionally requiring knowledge of certificates for non-originating products. North American Risk Officer:• Maintain the North American region risk register and work with the Enterprise Risk Management team to track risks and work on mitigation solutions with relevant departments.
