In short, I aspire to create, shape and apply novel devices at the interface of (superconducting) microwave circuits, optics and acoustics. I achieved proficiency in simulation & design, fabrication, operation and software development in these domains for quantum computing and networking purposes.In more detail, in the last years I dedicated myself to the development of a future quantum computing (hybrid) network in a fantastic team of motivated and talented colleagues. My expertise ranges from integrated telecom photonics, superconducting qubits to (superconducting) microwave circuits; and specifically on their design, simulation, fabrication, and operation. This work nominally requires clean room nanofabrication, in depth modelling, theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills alike, extensive coding, and to be fully conversant with high precision optical and electrical instruments. But success - as always - rises and falls with conceptual thinking, patience, fruitful cooperation, instinct and creativity, and to be ready to take the extra mile :)
