Provided a complete assembly design for twelve 1600 cfm thermal conditioning units, including all related piping routings.• Provided complete mechanical engineering package for 30x50 horizontal test facility for Loral Space Systems, which included thermal shrouds, GN2 blower assemblies, LN2 pump assembly, 48-inch Cryopump assemblies, cryogenic vacuum jacketed piping and updated P&ID.

The engineering design focus was to satisfy CE-mark approval.• Cost Reduction: Redesigned the Optical Column assembly to reduce manufacturing costs by 36percent and significantly reduce assembly costs with fewer components. The new design offers more adjustment features, and is a more robust design.

This instrument went into high volume production. • Designed laboratory products: The EZ Flash™ gas chromatography upgrade kits, which converted a conventional GC to a Flash-GC, increasing sample throughput from 5 to 30 times.• Assisted in the design development of Alexus Bottle Analysis and Detection System for Coca-Cola’s returned plastic bottle inspection.• Redesigned the InScan Image Analysis System which monitors containers or packages on filling lines using a low dose X-ray source.• Member of design and development team for SecurScan, a stand-alone walk-through portal designed to meet the need of the airline industry. The SecurScan provides maximum detection of explosives by utilizing specially designed wands to directly contact personnel as they walk through the system.
