About George Amoh

George Amoh is a Green Career Specialist with niche sustainability consulting experience. He has embarked on an unconventional path toward his career goals. What started in the early years as a Hospitality and Tourism focus quickly pivoted into a more Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Equitable Stakeholder relations focus. He noticed a lack of representation, active inclusion, and leadership within sustainability from BIPOC communities (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). His 'why' was born out of this, and this continuously fuels his passion for bridging the gap between sustainability and communities of colour. In the last three years, he has gone on to work with various BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) business incubator programs and non-profits, started a sustainable textiles business (Huri Movement), was recognized as an Emerging Leader for Circularity 21 (Green Biz), and most recently started working with various sustainability-focused consulting groups and eco-based non-profits. Climate justice and Justice-led circular economies form the foundation of his work/drive. He is always open to new opportunities and wants to encourage others who look like him (BIPOC), allies as well, to stand up for what they believe in and work together to create a more equitable and diverse environment for sustainable growth and development. "If not now...Then when?"

Listed skills include Leadership, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Social Media, and 5 others.
