• Implement best practice pest control methods for the control of possums and rats including shooting, trapping and poisoning using controlled substances• Ensure traps and bait stations are set to industry standard and conform to all animal welfare regulations• Operate safely in remote isolated environments as part of a small team, liaising with other members and team leader via radios and satellite communication• Aid in the implementation of the data recorded on GPS units into GIS mapping software• Create GIS maps and project plans during the contract tendering process • Logistical management of staff on aerial operations
