George Avraam, a Cypriot journalist, scriptwriter, and filmmaker, was born in December 1978 in Nicosia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Social Sciences from Frederick University of Cyprus. Over the last 23 years, he has worked in various media outlets, including radio, newspapers, and television. In addition to his professional work, he has written and produced 3 short films, 3 short documentaries, and one feature-length creative documentary. His films have been selected for competition at international film festivals in the USA, Sweden, Greece, Cape Town, India, Cyprus, and other countries. He has received awards at various international festivals.
