Responsible for reconciling Ensure Nostro and Fed accounts, loans, placements and investments and their related accrued interest receivable.Review the period-end Allowance for Credit Losses computation and ensure adequate reserves are maintained.Carry out the period end mark-to-market valuation for available-for-sale debt securities and propose adjustments for any fair value gains and losses. Reconcile Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Work in Progress and any deferred income accounts. Ensure depreciation charges have been accurately recorded. Assess adequacy of expense accruals and recommend additions or reversals.Specifically review accruals for payroll, payroll taxes, consultants’ fees, taxes, audit fees, etc. Perform a high-level check for unrecorded liabilities. Review and reconcile all suspense accounts. Perform pre-month end validation of revenues and expenses and set expectation for month end positions.
