Responsible for:- Delivering high service and performance for airport, Aeronautical Ground Lighting, Airside stand facilities, civil’s infrastructure and transport engineering.- Taking a leading role in developing and maintaining a culture of world class health, safety, security and environmental standards. Supporting safe systems of work structures, attaining any resulting required appointments. For example: Electrical Safety Rules (ESR), Authorised Persons (AP), Confined Spaces (CS) and High Voltage (HV).- Ensuring Business Unit's completion of safety, planned and corrective maintenance in-line with the Airside Operations unit and Business targets.- Ensuring the daily plan completion is supervised, working with Business Managers and Team Leaders to resource (any unplanned resourcing deviations are resolved) and deliver. - Working with Head of Airside Operations to ensure all the passenger, people, and profit performance targets and compliance/ regulatory requirements embodied within it are met.- Setting Business Unit objectives.- Meeting Service Quality compliance, ensuring team performance meets required SLA & Q Factor measures.- Agreeing, reviewing and coaching performance of directly managed team to ensure targets are met and potential of team members fulfilled.- Working with other Stakeholders, Service & Engineering Managers and teams to drive continuous performance improvements.- Managing the development, improvement and performance of operations plans by working with Operations Planners.- Contribution to capital plan development, own and manage Opex plan.- Deputising for other Airside Business Unit senior managers on an adhoc basis
