George Christopher is a young Political Journalist working out of Ithaca, New York and Hazlet, New Jersey. George was interested in politics at an early age and volunteered on political campaigns in High School. George decided to study Journalism and Politics at Ithaca College. While there George began working with the college's student run radio station WICB and magazine Buzzsaw. He also worked with WRFI Community Radio. He's covered local politics in the Ithaca area interviewing State Senate and Congressional Candidates. In the summer of 2022 George interned with the New Jersey Globe. George got the opportunity to cover New Jersey politics, and interview prominent New Jersey political figures including Governor Phil Murphy, Senator Bob Menendez, and Congressman Josh Gottheimer. George is currently finishing his Senior year at Ithaca College and continues to cover politics in Ithaca, Tompkins County, and New York State for WRFI and WICB.
