Always passionate on what I'm doing and studying. Industrial Engineering was the perfect fit for me because it provides the whole picture of the engineering field and lets me have a taste of everything, from systems and computers to economic analysis and business management. Since I entered the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez I've been very active and doing a lot of networking in different groups and projects. I served as a student mentor for freshmen students in "Team Made" where I had my own group and guide them through the process of getting to know the college life and also it served me to learn from them and emerge as a leader. During my third year I had the opportunity of serving in the student council, making different decisions, as a group, always looking for the students best interest at the institution. I also was part of two special projects (RUM Racing Baja & Student Design Competition) where I developed myself in a more technical way and represented my institution with pride and responsibility. Last but not least, I had the opportunity to participate in two different internships for the aerospace industry (Honeywell & Lockheed Martin) and one COOP for the pharmaceutical industry (Eli Lilly). These opportunities gave me a lot of experience doing real field work and learning from people who are already professionals.I consider myself a very enthusiast person with a lot of initiative to always move forward and achieve my goals. I plan to finish my bachelor degree on June 2021 and after graduation start working for the industry while at the same time begin my masters degree on Manufacturing Engineering.
