Human Resources Business Partner
• Serve as the HR subject matter expert (SME) to management and staff on all HR related matters for the designated Divisions. • Conduct HR investigations, gather, and analyze information pertaining to performance management and/or conduct issues to ensure compliance with Commission rules, regulations, and Collective Bargaining Agreements.• Apply Commission and Department policies and procedures consistently across the organization in respect to HR programs and initiatives.• Educate and inform management and staff on the Commission rules, regulations, and Union agreements, federal and State laws as it relates to managing performance and/or misconduct.• Consult with management and provides solutions to workforce issues that are relevant and aligned with their operations.• Conduct audits and reviews of current HR programs/policies and identify opportunities to streamline or revise existing programs/policies (i.e. Recruitment process, Performance Management, and FMLA administration)• Facilitates management discussions, focus groups, interviews, and/or surveys on various HR programs to gather support by Divisions and alignment with their operations.
