Secondment From Planning Role

My current role involves: -*Training and supporting Aggregate & Asphalt Planners in effectively rolling out the Order Fulfilment System in the United Kingdom.* Planning & preparing training days on Order Fulfilment for Transport Planners.*Training each individual planner on the new system until they are fully adequate to use the system.*Supporting planners that are going live on Order Fulfilment in their area.*Giving feedback from planners on improving the system continuously.

My Transport Planning role involved: - * Management of programmed orders and services. * Ensuring product is dispatched to the customer on time. * Daily resource management of plant and truck capacities in line with targets. * Liaising with customers, Logistic team, Hauliers, Sales managers and drivers. * Planning on excel the work schedule for each day. * Management of late loads, including a timely notification of these issues to all relevant parties. * Working pro actively to establish the feasibility of customer requests in coordination with the drivers.
