- Built machine learning models for internal use, that brought completely new insights to the organisation, with direct implications to strategy and how we understand our peer group. - Developed an end-to-end sentiment analysis solutions with real-time external data feeds, so the senior management is up to date with what people think about our announcements and actions. Built the whole ETL, modelling process and front-end application using SQL, R and Qlik. - Used approximate string matching algorithms in python to augment existing datasets, which made them available for new kind of analysis.- Worked with technical and business teams on Lloyd's strategic digitisation programmed (Future At Lloyd's), where I designed and built entirely new solutions. I then presented them in front of participants from the whole Lloyd's market.- Worked alongside InsurTech companies as part of Lloyd's Lab. Challenged well established risk taking approaches (GLM models), with innovative Neural Network implementations.

- Built interactive data products, using Qlik and Power BI, to deliver actionable insights to the business.- Less is more: I brought different teams (but within the same function) together. We all agreed on common definitions and visuals that would address their needs through a single data product. It is still the most used in the organisation.- Designed and implemented data standards, built data pipelines (ETL) - End-to-end development, from the data warehouse, dashboard transformations and aggregations to the front-end application.- Advocate of clear design to maximise audience engagement.

- Data and Analytics Management: Built and led the data and analytics function of Lloyd’s Commercial Division. Worked with macroeconomic, insurance market and very granular Lloyd’s indicators; and used Business Intelligence tools (SAP Business Objects, Qlik, Power BI) to support the Business Development agenda of the Lloyd’s Market participants.- Economic Analysis / Strategy: Supported country and regional strategy papers with key inputs in the messages, the visuals and the flow.- Relationship Management: Acted as an effective relationship manager between Commercial Division, Underwriting Performance, Data Lab & IT, as well as engaged with business development managers from Lloyd’s Syndicates & Brokers to understand their needs and create a relevant value proposition for them.- Project Work / Research: Led projects across various business functions combining my technical expertise with my business understanding. Researched business environment conditions in target countries and sectors to assist with Lloyd’s international expansion.

- Budgeting: Created precise budget estimations. Regularly reviewed and revised the budget, adapting to the changes that occurred over time in an unstable economic environment. - Financial Analysis: Managed collection and processed all of the company’s financial information. Initiated and implemented improvements in efficiency of data management.- Market Analysis / Business Planning: Formulated the initial analysis and business plan when the company wanted to expand in a new market. This involved understanding the market, identifying the types of customers, identifying competitors and analysing the business threats.

- Research and Business planning: Engage with clients to explore their needs and provide them with appropriate business solutions. - Communication: Liaise with people from different industries. Learned the importance of building trusted relationships with clients and maintaining them through commitment to achieving their goals.

Leading and Supervising: Acquired the military-grade of corporal after completing a special training, ranked 2nd out of 70 soldiers, and serviced for some time as first-class sergeant. I was team leader in a team of 8 and platoon leader in a platoon of 40 people. I learned to communicate and implement plans to the team and achieve goals with limited supplies, by conveying to each of my team members how important they were to the completion of the target and the benefits to them of outperforming the others.
