Since leaving the Manchester City Council in 2011 I have continued to develop my interest, knowledge and understanding of Health, Social Care, Education and Community Development at all levels.I currently serve on a range of boards, both statutory and voluntary to help tackle inequalities and support improved outcomes for people from disadvantaged backgrounds – my roles include;• Chair LMCP.• Public governor with Pennine Care Foundation NHS • Board member on the Trafford Housing Trust’s Social Investment Fund.• LMCP representative on Manchester Carers Network• Member of on Trafford CCG’s Public Reference and Advisory Panel• Trustee and board member of the David Lewis Centre.• Chair of Manchester BME Health and Social Care Partnership.• Chair of Partington Learning Partnership Local Governing Body.• Chair of Partington Ealry Help Hub Advisory Board.• Chair Partington Youth Partnership.I am passionate about working with individuals, groups and communities to support and enable them to take more control over their circumstances and improve their health and well-being.
