A member of the site leadership team with responsibility for production, supply chain and planning on a day to day basis and with involvement in the site strategic business development .The site has over 650 employees including agency and operates on a 24/7 basis producing over 80 pastry SKUs suppllying most of the major retailers.

Thetford

With responsibilities for both the day to day operations of the site, and involvement in the sites’ strategic business development plan. I lead a multi-functional team across multiple departments on a site that has over 600 employees (Permanent and Agency) and operates on a 24/7 basis, with annual sales of around £90 Million.

Wissington, Norfolk, Uk

Head of operations for Product availability at Wissington Sugar Factory with direct control over all four operational facilities: bagged operations, bulk sugar, liquid sugar and the blends plant. Accountability for all functions on site (Finance, Planning, H&S, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Etc…) I had 5 direct and 5 in-direct managerial reports, who oversaw annual sales of 550,000 tonnes of sugar worth over £300M, with an annual operational budget of approximately £10M.

Wissington, Norfolk, Uk

This role had two clearly defined stages; first to aid the commissioning of British Sugar’s bagged production centre of excellence; and secondly to manage the operations post commissioning. I was responsible for the recruitment of all new staff for the facility and the implementation of a development plan that included the staged transfer of production and logistics from other facilities.
