I studied BA Sports Coaching and Sports Development achieving a 2:1. I then went on to study MA PE and School Sport, achieving a Merit respectively. I have worked in a variety of different settings that have been heavily people based weather it be customers, pupils and students or the elderly. This has allowed me to develop good communication skills, confidence and the ability to adapt to the needs of the people around me. I am currently working at Critchill School in Frome as a Job Coach. My roles and responsibilities are working with the pupils on the Working Futures programme, these pupils are all aged 16 or over and are beginning to step into the world of work. This involves taking them out on work placements, engaging with employers and key stakeholders, creating new relationships in the community and breaking down barriers to support our young people. During the holidays and away from school. I support Nova Sports and Coaching with their wide range of activities. Nova specialise in delivering sport to people with a disability or learning difficulty. I often lead sessions and also support, these could range from a football session all the way surfing at The Wave in Bristol. I am currently on the coaching team at Frome Town United, working with the Under 12 Harriers. Having gained my Introduction to Coaching Football, I am now exploring the possibilities of expanding my knowledge of the game. As of the 2024/2025 season, I will be managing the clubs social media accounts. I am always looking to develop as a person and as a professional, I am always keen to expand my knowledge within the industry and keep making connections.
