Detective – Investigations and Homeland SecurityJacksonville Sheriff OfficeNovember 1989 – Current Completed investigations of Felony Burglary, Grand Theft, Employee Theft, Fraud, and various Economic Crime cases. Worked with a variety of other local, state, and out-of-state agencies to complete the investigations of assigned cases. Investigations included an array of circumstances from "just occurred" single incident to multiple organized group incidents / crimes. Investigations include: interviewing of victims, witnesses, and suspects to gather information relating to the crime(s); coordinating investigative efforts with internal and external entities; and maintaining comprehensive case files on the investigation for prosecution in court. Certified Field Training Officer / Detective providing and implemented training programs for new Street Officers and new Detectives. As a Master Patrol Officer / Senior Detective, in the absence of a supervisor, assumed the responsibility as supervisor in charge of Officers / Detectives. Responsibilities include case assignments, management of cases, and accept, review, and approve reports and case files.

Military Communications – Radio Man US NavyJune 1984 – July 1988 (4 years) Received training at the San Diego Training Command Center in San Diego California. After receiving training and certifications, was assigned to the USS Luce, DDG-38 in Mayport Florida. Worked in the ship’s Command Communication Center and was responsible for all ship’s communications both in port and underway. Held a Top Secret military clearance while working in the US Navy. Prior to my Honorable Discharge from the USS Navy, I was in charge of subordinates working in the Ship’s Communication Center and answered to the Ship’s Master Chief and Communications Officer. During my enlistment with the US Navy, I completed multiple tours in the Persian Gulf, North Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Indian Ocean during hostile and peace timeframes.
