I have been very fortunate in my 35-year career to work in the automation and robotics industry. I have been able to combine my Industrial Engineering degree and training with automation experience to design manufacturing processes and assembly lines. I have worked for heralded companies like Bosch, Bosch Rexroth, Lanco Assembly Systems (now Lanco integrated) and GTE/Sylvania, and I have satisfied my entrepreneurial spirit by starting businesses like Martin Industrial Technology. I have even owned and operated an Ace Hardware store. It is my passion to work with people to solve technical problems. I go to work every day to help solve problems; not just any problems, but the tough ones. If the MIT team cannot solve the problem, we will find someone who can. We try to make working with us easy by doing the heavy lifting and sweating the details. It is important to combine our training and years of experience with our customers and principles, and work together as a team to approach problems in a way that consistently yields success.
