Train Soldier's and Civilians on responding to a hazardous incident, and how to respond safely without causing harm to personnel the environment and property.

Serves as Training Support Center (TSC) Chief, with the responsibility as the Senior Training instructor/Program Manager for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) within Okinawa Japan (Torii Station). Responsible for providing operational knowledge expertise in the support of weapons training, doctrine, utilization strategy to support individual and collective training. Serves as TADASS subject matter expert on major systems and the TSC facility manager . Assist unit commanders in establishing a training program that will meet the unit's needs. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND COORDINATION: Developed and evaluated training programs and materials, applying professional knowledge of training theories, principles, practices, and technologies along with a systems approach to successful completion of training objectives. Conducted training needs surveys and identified required training support and materials for a variety of courses. Assessed training requirements, plans, and support packages, and reviewed training publications and materials to ensure all phases of training were current and relevant to training goals. Developed new equipment and sustainment training strategies and identified necessary training aids, devices, simulations, and simulators. COURSE DEVELOPMENT AND PREPARATION: Designed new training courses according to existing guidelines, developing and maintaining lesson plans, examinations, practical exercises, and training aids. Monitored training sessions and reviewed written material, training devices, and simulations related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense and training, developing recommendations to improve course materials and training effectiveness.

Served as a key member of the Chemical Defense Training Facility instructor team, applying extensive knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures to conduct training in CBRN defense. Provided toxic chemical nerve agent training for individuals undergoing advanced individual training. Served as the advisor for curriculum development and on the development of opportunities to reinforce what was learned in the classroom.TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION: Prepared trainees to enter the workforce and qualified individuals for a variety of specialties related to CBRN. Reinforced and strengthened skills and knowledge of trainees, using a variety of techniques and methods to ensure a full understanding of the material. Conducted classroom lectures, hands-on activities in a laboratory and work environment, and experiential or work-based learning situations. Provided instruction on the theories and techniques used in the field and discussed the related laws and regulations. Provided demonstrations of tasks, techniques, or tools used in the field and led exercises. Oversaw progress of individual trainees and provided assistance with problems or needed additional instruction or direction.
