Leadership of Central Credit Utility divisions focused on commercial quality control testing, financial spreading, borrowing base processing, and commercial support services. Direct reports include the managers of these divisions. The Central Credit Utility is a division within the Commercial Bank that has employees located in multiple states across the bank's footprint. Involved in key activities focused on strategic direction, data quality, regulatory matters, process improvement, and other key initiatives.

Manager - Quality Control team. Manage a group of Analysts that test various commercial processes including probability of default ratings, credit memos, borrowing bases, loan codes, and various other items centered around the commercial loan lifecycle.

Manager - Commercial Real Estate and Private Bank Central Credit Utility. Manage a group of seven Analysts who provide commercial analytical support for CRE and the Private Bank across Fifth Third's footprint of twelve states.

Served as the interim Commercial Real Estate Credit Officer for Fifth Third's Central Indiana (Indianapolis), Southern Indiana (Evansville), and St. Louis markets. Rendered loan approvals and was responsible for all credit metrics for a total book of business in excess of $300 million. Managed four Portfolio Managers.

Responsible for underwriting complex commercial real estate transactions with individual loan approval authority of $5 million. Also managed a team of four Credit Analysts that provided spreading and underwriting support to all commercial lines of business in North Carolina.

Upon acquisition of First Charter Bank by Fifth Third Bank, I returned to Commercial Credit. Responsible for underwriting commercial real estate transactions and managing credit metrics for a sizable book of business. Participated in a number of special projects including the development and introduction of new portfolio management systems and bank wide training endeavors.

Responsible for obtaining new commercial loan relationships with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. Managed a portfolio in excess of $50 million. Experienced in financing commercial office and condo construction projects, big box retail, commercial and residential A&D, multi-family, and other types of real estate lending. Also had a C&I component to my portfolio.

Responsible for managing a department of seven Commercial Credit Analysts that spread financial statements and underwrote commercial loan transactions.

Responsible for analyzing and underwriting commercial loan relationships (Middle Market and Commercial Real Estate), with a focus on credits in excess of $2 million. Rendered recommendations on approval, loan structure, and risk ratings. Spread financial statements and participated in project work.
