Principal, Director Of Operations
CurrentWorking at the cross roads of People, Process and Profits is extremely rewarding. These days, I primarily focus on having the right people in the right roles doing the right things. Think of it as project management with a much wider influence. Rather than working for one client, I'm working for our 170+ Employee-Owners. Specifically I lead our Technical Design and BIM Resources group, the Information Technology department, and our Enterprise Resource Planning department. I work very closely with our Staffing Director, our Human Resources department and Finance and Accounting department to ensure our client facing employee-owners have the resources needed to work effectively for their clients.I still maintain project responsibilities on a few, select projects and clients. This allows me to keep up on industry skills and knowledge and apply it broadly across the office. Several ways this has manifest is leading the Project Managers forums by bringing relevant topics and awareness of current issues to the project management cohort and participating in networking and outreach events that focus on minority, women, veteran and emerging small businesses to find well-qualified consultants to partner with on future opportunities.
