IAO/AIS was incorporated in 1991. It was to create on-line applications and information products and services for the property and casualty insurance industry (personal & commercial lines). IAO/AIS was then acquired by CGI.- Created and managed I.T. Department (15 developer/analysts, 4 operators)- Designed overall user interface and multi-tier architecture to be used for all (multilingual) applications- Defined, designed, developed & implemented residential and commercial information products for the P&C insurance industry - claims tracking, building inspections, scoring and rating, along with PC-based data acquisition and rating applications (HITS, Sitelines, CTS, OnSite).- All applications were then fully re-engineered for the Internet (yes, there was a time before the internet)- Defined, designed, developed & implemented the IAO/AIS Billing/Invoicing system- Defined, designed, developed & implemented an API application gateway (with proprietary EDI packet format) enabling insurance companies to automatically order information products from IAO/AIS and partner companies (such as CGI’s automobile claims, TransUnion / Equifax credit information, MPAC building inspections, etc…) and receive the information as data.
