In 2009/10 my work at DMDesign entailed creating SEO strategy reports for client websites. Since then my role has expanded to include content management, client liaison and consultation, Mailchimp email design, copywriting and keyword optimisation, and Wordpress updates, backups and security checks.

Chord Marauders is an independent record label and e-commerce business that I founded in 2014. Since its inception, the platform has accrued over 20,000 followers across social media platforms and has generated significant revenue. As founder, my roles have varied: managing our website's portfolio, writing press releases, A&R, creating paid social media ads, and organising events and international tours.

Working on Iris's Volkswagen contract, I was responsible for creating & standardising content within the CMS. Further duties included editing the CSS to new design specifications, and also reviewing colleagues' work.

During this rebranding project undertaken by AIG, I provided wording and graphical edits to the company's official documents in line with guidelines. Further duties included managing the company's document inventory databases and general office administration.

In this role I provided supporting research for two major international policy reports: Global School Report (The worst places in the world to be a school child) and Make It Right for Girls. This involved researching and building datasets using online databases, and conducting semi-structured interviews by phone with education experts in a range of different countries in Asia and Africa. I also supervised the work of another research assistant who helped us with interviews in French. I also offered administrative support to the team (minute-taking, filing etc) and attended and contributed to strategy and research development meetings.
